TREATMENT STEP BY STEP
PRE TREATMENT
The first step of treatment is a consultation with an experienced clinician at 3D Medical Aesthetics. Although the treatment can be safely used on most skin types for common aging and sun-related skin conditions, your medical provider will determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure based on a variety of personal factors. Your clinician will asnwer any questions or concerns you may have and will customize a treatment plan that best fits your aesthetic goals, time, and budget.
DURING YOUR TREATMENT
Most people feel only minimal discomfort, similar to the snapping of a rubber band accompanied by some heat in the treatment area. Your medical provider may use comforting techniques such as topical numbing creams or cooled gel packs to make your experience better. It is typical to see minor redness and swelling similar to a mild sunburn but this should resolve in just a few days.
POST TREATMENT
Combination treatments provide improvement in skin pigmentation, redness, and texture for the face, including the areas around the mouth and the eye, cheeks, and upper lip. You will see continued improvement in the skin’s appearance during and after a course of 1-3 treatments with visible results after each individual treatment. You may see results in facial veins immediately after the treatment, along with a darkening of the brown spots. These spots will flake off over the next one to three weeks, leaving you with a glowing appearance. You will see progressive results on any fine lines, wrinkles or scarring over the next six months as your skin naturally responds to the treatment.

Treatments are quick and typically take about 30 minutes, though the exact time will depend on your physician’s techniques and pre-procedure protocol. During the consultation, ask your physician how long you should expect to be at the office.
Typically, you can resume regular daily activities the same day as your treatment, although due to some redness and swelling, you may experience a day or two of social downtime.
